YOHJI YAMAMOTO, PARIS F/W FAL 2011
From the land of the rising sun to the City of Lights, Yohji Yamamoto's Fall 2011 collection was a perfect mix of these two places he finds inspiration from. Edgy, punk street style clothes walk the runway with whimsical colorful mohawks reminiscent of cotton candy. Sheer printed dresses and patchwork tights, paired with military boots make up a perfect outfit for the uber-cool young crowd. Obviously rock-and-roll inspired and tough, his presentation was still very feminine as Yohji knows the womans' figure and can highlight their best attributes.
